Ski Touring in Gerlos

In fact, the Zillertal Arena between Zillertal and the Gerlos Pass is probably best known for its extensive system of pistes. Only insiders know that you can also find some really rewarding ski tours here.

Our interesting and variety-filled ski-touring routes begin in Gerlos valley at an elevation of 1200 m above sea level, though leading up to glacial regions amid 3,000 meter peaks. The degree of difficulty ranges between intermediate and expert.

Before any ski tour you happen to be planning, always be sure to check out current avalanche conditions. Additional information can be found at, or simply stop in at one of Gerlos' ski schools to check on the current avalanche situation.
